From Concord to City Hall - Common Sense Solutions for Manchester
As your State Representative for Hillsborough 25, I’ve had the honor of serving on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, where I work on legislation to protect families, support law enforcement, and improve public safety across New Hampshire.
In addition to my work at the State House, I also represent you at the Hillsborough County level, where I serve on a subcommittee focused on the 2025/2026 budget. This role has given me firsthand experience with responsible budgeting and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used effectively.
Now, I’m ready to bring that same level of commitment and accountability to the city as your next Alderman. I’ll continue to advocate for safe neighborhoods, strong support for small businesses. reliable city services, and a local government that puts people first.
Manchester has been my home since I was a small child. I have lived here for over 45 years and grew up attending local schools including Hallsville Elementary, Southside Junior High, and Memorial High School. After spending a short time away for college, I came back to the city I love and laid down roots.
For the past 28 years, I’ve been a proud Manchester homeowner, and today, I’m also a small business owner.
I have seen this city through times of change and growth, and I remain committed to its future because this isn’t just where I live, it’s who I am..
I’m the daughter of two dedicated educators; my mother, an elementary school teacher, and my father, a high school guidance counselor. Growing up, I saw firsthand the impact that committed teachers and school staff have on students, families, and communities.
Because of that, I have a deep appreciation for the value of a strong, quality education. I believe education lays the foundation for opportunity, personal growth, and long-term success.
Supporting our schools and the people who make them work is essential to building a stronger, more vibrant future for our city.
I’m a proud mother of four amazing children, and being their mom has been the greatest blessing of my life. Parenthood has shaped who I am, grounded my values, and inspired me to work for a better future, not just for my family, but for all families in our community.
I am also incredibly lucky to be the wife of a kind, giving husband who fully supports both my career and my public service. He’s a dedicated first responder and an emergency room nurse, and I’m constantly inspired by his compassion and strength.
I’m a firm believer in the importance of family, it’s the heart of everything I do. Today, I’m also a proud grandmother to two precious grandsons, with more grandbabies on the way!
My family is my motivation and my greatest source of joy and purpose.
I believe a healthy lifestyle is all about balance. When I need some quiet time, you’ll likely find me in my garden, curled up with a good book, or walking my dogs on a nice trail. But I also know how to let my hair down and enjoy life!
I’ve had the chance to travel all over the world. Some of my favorite places include Iceland, Singapore, and the beautiful beaches of Jamaica. Through my travels, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for different cultures. I love learning about how people live, their traditions, and especially their food! Living in such a vibrant, multicultural community here in Manchester is a true gift, and I believe our diversity is one of our greatest strengths.
Closer to home, I love exploring local restaurants, checking out craft breweries, and catching live music whenever I can.
Life is meant to be lived, and I believe that staying energized, curious, and connected helps me bring my best to everything I do, especially when serving my community.
When I’ve seen something wrong, I’ve always felt a responsibility to help make it right—it’s simply in my nature.
My passion for advocacy began in the early 2000s when I joined the fight to restore the rights of adopted adults to access their original birth certificates. That effort led to the successful passage of Senate Bill 335, which went into effect on January 1, 2005. This law restored the unrestricted right of birth record access to New Hampshire’s adult adoptees—a meaningful step forward for personal rights and transparency.
Later, I took my advocacy to the U.S. Capitol, where I stood alongside individuals living with chronic illness, giving them a voice and helping raise awareness about the challenges they face. Whether it’s championing legislative change or offering support to those in need, I believe advocacy is a powerful way to create lasting impact—and I remain committed to using my voice to stand up for what’s right.
I’m a proud pug mom! And if you’ve ever been owned by a pug, you know, it’s a whole vibe.
Both of my pugs were rescued from Korea, and their stories are heartbreaking but hopeful. Luna spent her early life as a breeder in one of the most heartbreaking puppy mills I’ve ever seen. Neville was a “yard dog,” tied up on concrete with several other dogs, never knowing the comfort of a full belly or a warm place to rest.
Today, they are two happy, spoiled, and very pampered pugs who bring endless joy to my life. Their resilience reminds me every day why compassion, second chances, and a little bit of love can make all the difference.
For over 25 years, I have dedicated my professional life to serving seniors and individuals with disabilities. These are communities that hold a special place in my heart.
As a physical therapy professional with a focus on geriatrics, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with older adults to help them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. My career includes time with the Manchester Visiting Nurse Association, Easter Seals, and the Manchester School District, where I supported students with special needs in the public school system.
Each experience has deepened my commitment to making our communities more inclusive and accessible. Whether it's ensuring a senior can safely remain in their home or helping a student fully participate in school life, I believe everyone deserves the chance to be seen, supported, and connected to the world around them.
This work has never just been a job for me. It’s a calling. I have always been an advocate, and I always will be.
Seniors and individuals with disabilities should never feel forgotten — not in our policies, not in our budgets, and not in our communities.
I’m running to be your Ward 5 Alderman because I care deeply about this community, its people, its families, and its future. This isn’t just where I live, it’s where I’ve raised my children, built a business, and dedicated myself to public service.
Public safety is a top priority for me. Everyone deserves to feel secure in their neighborhood, and I’m committed to supporting solutions that keep our streets safe and our families protected.
As your State Representative, I’ve served on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, and on the Hillsborough County budget subcommittee, giving me hands-on experience with policymaking and fiscal responsibility. I’ve signed a tax promise and will always respect your hard-earned money. I believe in transparency, common sense, and accountability at every level of government.
What sets me apart is not just my experience, but my approach: I’m well-balanced, approachable, and focused on getting things done. I love my neighbors, support our small businesses, and genuinely care about the direction of our city. If you reach out to me, I’ll listen. If something needs fixing, I’ll take action.
This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about people. I’d be honored to continue serving you, now as your Ward 5 Alderman.
